Fabergé Unveils Emerald Isle Whiskey Collection

Fabergé has teamed up with the Craft Irish Whiskey Co to create the Emerald Isle Collection, a seven-piece set that includes two bottles of 30-year-old Irish Whiskey. Presented in a dark walnut box, the Whiskey is accompanied by two unique and exclusive creations from the iconic Russian jeweler – the first-of-its-kind Celtic Egg objet and the bespoke Altruist timepiece.

Fabergé created the Emerald Isle Collection to celebrate the “seven wonders of Ireland.” The 30-year-old single malt Irish whiskey has been aged in 200-litre first-fill American oak casks, which previously contained Bourbon. The Whiskey was then finished in a single 40l pedro ximénez Sherry barrel.

Each collection also includes a humidor with two ultra-rare Cohiba Siglo VI Grand Reserva cigars, a gold-plated cigar cutter, gold plated water pipette, pure obsidian whiskey stones, a hip flask with a sample of the Emerald Isle whiskey, which is the rarest Irish whiskey in existence, and a carafe filled with Irish spring water from the same region where the whiskey was made.

The Fabergé Celtic Egg was handcrafted by fourth generation Fabergé enamel workmaster Dr Marcus Mohr. Made from 18k yellow gold, the eggs are set with a diamond Celtic knot that frames a coloured gemstone at its center.

The Fabergé Altruist 18k rose gold timepiece was handcrafted by Fabergé workmaster André Martinez, the pieces feature a self-winding movement and unique dial, inspired by the landscape of one of the Seven Wonders of Ireland.

“This is a thrilling partnership for Fabergé, as it sees us continuing our legacy of creating unique and collectable objects, bridging the gap between historic legacy and modern-day heirlooms,” said Josina von dem Bussche-Kessell, Global Sales and Business Development Director at Fabergé. “Rare whiskey has seen tremendous investor attention, and the whiskey market is undergoing a dynamic evolution. It is very exciting for Fabergé to participate in such a cross-pollination of luxury sectors, thereby adding a contemporary twist on age old traditions.”

The Craft Irish Whiskey Co has pledged 100% of the proceeds from the sale of each set to charity. The company will donate 50% to the Correa Family Foundation, which supports children affected by serious illness, the remaining 50% will be donated to the buyer’s charity of choice.

The launch of the Fabergé Emerald Isle Collection will take place via a private auction in Houston, Texas on February 2, 2021.

In November, the Craft Irish Whiskey Co unveiled The Devil’s Keep, the most expensive first release in Whiskey history. It’s also the oldest-ever triple-distilled Whiskey and the first bottle set an auction record last week. Only 333 bottles of the spirit have been made available worldwide and can be purchased via the brand’s official website.
