Edinburgh Gin Offering Personalized Bottles Of Limited Edition Valentine’s Day Gin

Edinburgh Gin is making February 14th easier for the Gin lovers out there by launching a personalization service that allows you to create custom bottles of the Scottish brand’s limited edition Valentine’s Day Gin. The bespoke bottle service allows imbibers to swap out the iconic ’EG’ letters on its Valentine’s Gin label for the initials of a loved one, a long-distance friend, or even a Galentine.

Their limited edition Edinburgh Valentine’s Gin is infused with soothing notes of chamomile and lemon balm, uplifting lemongrass and Kaffir lime leaf, and subtly sweet traces of rose and hibiscus that create its signature rosy hue. It was specially created to celebrate the special day and is made using specially chosen botanicals such as rose petals, hibiscus flowers, and pink peppercorns to the perfect spirit to match any romantic meal between two.

“Valentine’s Gin has been designed to capture the romance of Valentine’s Day in a bottle,” said David Wilkinson, Head Distiller at Edinburgh Gin. “Made using fresh rose petals, bright red hibiscus and sweet, herbal elderflower. This limited-edition gin is our annual celebration of the season of love.”

To make the special day extra drinkable, the brand has created a alentine’s themed cocktail recipe using their new gin:

The First Kiss

  • 35ml Edinburgh Gin Valentine’s Gin
  • 15ml Edinburgh Gin Raspberry Liqueur
  • 60ml pineapple juice
  • Fresh raspberry to garnish

Add the Gin, liqueur and pineapple juice to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, then double-strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with a fresh raspberry

Bottled at 43% ABV, the Gin is priced at £36 ($49 USD) per 70cl bottle and is currently on sale via the official webstore.

In October, Edinburgh Gin released five different Storybook gift packs, each paying tribute to a piece of classic literature. To add even more cheer to the occasion, the Ian Macleod Distillers-owned brand concealed a first edition of George Orwell’s 1984 worth up to $2,600 in one of the sets.
