Chicago Martini Bar Yours Truly Is Brinings Cosmos And Classic 90s Cocktails To River North

Late 90s drinking culture is returning to Chicago by way of Yours Truly, an upscale martini bar that mixes up modern versions of classic cocktails hits like appletinis and cosmos. The watering hole opened in late October inside the Found Hotel in River North.

Created by restaurateur and designer Adolfo Garcia (the Diver, Diver at the Park). Yours Truly looks to ride the line between nostalgia and creativity. That means an appletini that arrives bathed in smoke with dehydrated apple, chamomile tea, and cinnamon bitters. The martini menu is 9 drinks deep and includes the “Not Your Mom’s Cosmo” (Grapefruit and rose vodka, hibiscus tea, cranberry, lemon juice, orange Combier, mint scent, hibiscus sugar rim and dehydrated lemon) and a take on the world’s current top cocktail, the espresso martini (Belvedere vodka, shot of Italian espresso, Spanish hazelnut liquer, finished with a caramelized coffee rim).

Outside of cocktails, Yours Truly features an international wine list and happy hour where patrons can choose $9 glasses from a menu of 15 to 20 options. The food menu is made up of light bites, and includes a charcuterie board (big or small), salads, whipped feta, wings, buttermilk tenders, and more.

The 110 seat space features booths, tables, and a lounge area. Some walls are bathed in gold silk roses, while others feature gold leaf and cedar wallpaper imported from London. The furnishings are all brass and marble, making for a warm, sexy feel. Additionally, several tvs are tucked away throughout the space.

Yours Truly is open Monday from 4pm to 10pm, Wednesday through Saturday from 4pm to 1am, and Sunday from 11 am to 6pm. It is located at 613 N. Wells Street, Chicago, IL 60654.

Last month, Guinness announced that the City of Broad Shoulders is set to be the home to the new Guinness Chicago Taproom.
