Balblair Wants You To Embrace “Precious Time” While Drinking Scotch

Before we get too far into the new short film, “Precious Time”, from Balblair and David Eustace, we just want to mention how f***ing good the Balblair 15 Year Old is. It just might be our favorite 15-year-old whisky that you can find somewhat regularly at US liquor stores, and honestly, at $120 per bottle, it’s a steal.

Okay back to business:

Balblair Highland Single Malt has partnered with internationally acclaimed Scottish photographer and director David Eustace to encourage everyone to embrace life’s valuable moments with the release of a short film entitled, “Precious Time” (check it out below).

The film explores the unrushed craft behind producing Scotch. Balblair takes this idea seriously, taking the time to make what they hope the drinker will take time to enjoy, to truly savor. Whether a casual drinker who sometimes sips seriously or a serious enthusiast who sips casually, the brand looks to reinforce the message, embrace time and all the treasures (liquid and intangible) it brings forth.

For those unaware, Balblair currently produces three whiskies as part of its core range: a 12-year-old ($70), a 15-year-old ($120), an 18-year-old ($209), and a 25-year-old ($699).

Last year we caught up with Distillery Manager John MacDonald to discuss what might just be the Scottish Highlands’ best kept whisky secret.

Anyways check out the short film below, it’s got all those beautiful shots one might want in a short about Scotch: barley in the wind, fog settling on green hills, the sun over water, some whisky pouring from bottle to glass, etc.
