Baines Pacharan

While Baines makes a few different alcohols, it’s Pacharan that remains the heart and soul of the operation. They make five different varieties (Clasico, Oro, Pamplonica, Sadar, and Laxoa).

Since 1844, Baines has been dedicated to manufacturing liqueurs, spirits and compounds. For over 170 years, the company has remained concentrated on a single philosophy: Search for excellence.

Baines is also committed to creating a better world with their products. The company bets on sustainability, social responsibility, and collaborating in various events that promote camaraderie, effort and solidarity. Baines controls their carbon footprint, allowing it to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions and be aware of the impact it generates on global warming.

The company belongs to the Spanish Luxury Association, Luxury Spain, which selects and promotes the highest quality and with whom it collaborates with to make their pacharán known throughout the world.

Classico

This is a straightforward, traditional Pacharan. ntense and brilliant ruby red color, its fresh and markedly fruity on the nose. The taste of sloe predominates on the palate, and it is creamy and velvety, with a long and intense finish.

Oro

Baines’ high-end Pacharan, the sloes used in Oro are macerated for six months in large wooden vats to give the liqueur its unique taste.  Featuring a very intense ruby red color and violet edges, the Pacharan has fruity, complex, balsamic notes. The mouth feel is dense, voluptuous and round.

Pamplonica

Billed as the “young man” of Baine’s Pacharans, Pacharán Pamplonica “tastes like partying, fun and enjoying company.” It has a bright/intense cherry garnet colour, with aromas of candied cherry and plum, along with notes of baking spices, almonds, and anise.

Sadar

Designed to balance the flavors of sloe and anise, Sadar is cherry red in color and is markedly fruity on the nose. It goes down easy.

Laxoa

Laxoa is made to resemble truly traditional Pacharan. On the nose it is fresh with balanced acidity, and has aromas of red berries and caramel. On the plate, it is round, structured and unctuous.
