Veuve Clicquot Opens Sunny Side Up Café In Soho To Celebrate 250th Anniversary

Veuve Clicquot Sunny Side Up Café

To celebrate its 250th Anniversary, Veuve Clicquot has opened a pop-up restaurant in London’s Soho. Dubbed the Sunny Side Up Café, the space will be serving up eggs and Champagne in Greek Street through the end of April.

Veuve Clicquot teamed up with chef Andi Oliver to design the elevated greasy spoon’s signature dish. “Andi’s Waffle’s.” The dish marries a range of culinary influences combining streaky bacon, confit cherry tomatoes, spiced maple syrup and fried eggs all served on top of a waffle. The goal of the dish is to encapsulate the indulgent, elegant character of Veuve Clicquot.

‘I am so excited to work with Veuve Clicquot, whose whole philosophy is about audacious women who defy the status quo, boldly and with aplomb,” said Oliver. “And that is something I identify with entirely. The vibrancy of their ethos and the iconic yellow is irresistible and contagious, not to mention the champagne itself – a true delight!”

The menu overall combines the traditional British breakfast with a contemporary Veuve Clicquot accent. Alongside the eggs, bacon, waffles, and such, there are also vegetarian options, takeaway rolls, and a plethora of sides to indulge in. The entire food menu is complemented with Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label and Rosé.

The interior of the Veuve Clicquot Sunny Side Up Café is a blend of white brick walls and bright yellow splashes–a nod to the French brand’s classic yellow label. Medium brown booths as well as wood and vinyl chairs provide seating throughout the space.

The pop-up is located at 59 Greek St London, W1D 3DZ and tickets can be purchased here.

In February, Veuve Clicquot announced it would also be celebrating its 250th anniversary with an epic train travel experience that takes guests from France to Italy aboard the Orient Express.
