Sitting just behind a sand dune along Beach Haven’s sandy side, The Sea Shell Resort & Beach Club features multiple restaurants and bars, lending it a versatility not often seen on Long Beach Island. 10 South Martini Lounge + Wine Bar sits just past the The Sea Shell Resort & Beach Club’s lobby and would seem miles from the outside tiki bar, if it weren’t for a wall of windows looking out towards the pool. Light bites are on offer, but it’s the handcrafted cocktails that keep people coming back time and again. From a Pamplemousse Fizz (prosecco, fresh grapefruit, rosemary) to a Samoa Martini (Godiva chocolate, Stoli vanilla, Rumchata, butterscotch, hazelnut, creme de cacao, Malibu), there is something available that should get your mouth watering – there’s even a full sheet of coffee cocktails for the after dinner crowd. Those not looking for hard liquor can choose between a constantly rotating set of beers on tap or a spacious wine menu.
