Teeling is celebrating its 7th anniversary with the launch of its Birthday Batch Irish whiskey. The Dublin distillery opened its doors in 2015.
The latest edition of Teeling Birthday Batch whiskey is made from hree hand selected casks of the distillery’s three different Dublin distillates (Single Pot Still, Single Malt & Peated Single Malt) and bottled at 47.7% ABV.
On the nose, the whiskey offers light touches of smoke with sweet tropical fruits and honeydew melon. The palate features apricot, pineapple and citrus, which give way to peppercorn spice and subtle dry smoke. The finish is long and full bodied with dry and spicy malt notes.
The 7th edition of Teeling Birthday Batch is limited to 900 individually numbered bottles and like last year all profits generated will be donated to local charities.

In March, Teeling unveiled the first release in the Wonders of Wood (WOW) Series of Single Pot Still, limited edition bottlings. The new series is part of the brand’s mission to push the boundaries of Irish whiskey by utilizing unique styles of wood for maturation.
In February, the distillery unveiled the fifth and final bottling of its Renaissance series.
