Award-winning London cocktail bar Oriole, which is hidden beneath Smithfield Market, is celebrating the launch of their latest cocktail menu by hosting takeovers from three of the best bars from Asia, Europe, and The Americas. The three events will draw on Oriole’s new menu, which celebrates exploration, history, and adventure, to spotlight flavours and experiences from across the three continents.
The first event in the series will see Singapore’s Nutmeg & Clove take the wheel on Wednesday 15th June from 6pm to late, presenting four cocktails from their current menu, The Cocktail Diaries, alongside an exclusive preview of Oriole’s latest offering ahead of its official launch at the end of the month. Recently ranked number 36 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars, Nutmeg & Clove will serve up four drinks inspired by Singaporean culture and ingredients – The Golden Charm (gin, pomelo, camomile, ginger), K-Tea-V (whiskey, barley, matcha, absinthe, cacao), Michael Jackson’s Punch (gin, Fernet Branca, Braulio, soy milk) and Goddess Highball (vodka, tieguanyin, soda).
This event will be the first in a series of takeovers throughout 2022 that draw on the three sections of Oriole’s new cocktail menu – Asia, Europe and The Americas – and see the team hosting some of each continents’ most revered bars. Partners and dates for the subsequent events as well as details of Oriole’s new menu will be announced in due course.
Oriole is open from Tuesday through Saturday from 6pm till Late. It is located at Oriole Bar, E Poultry Ave, London EC1A 9LH.
