Patrón Announces Paloma Week

Patrón Paloma Week

From August 23 to 30, Patrón Tequila is bringing Paloma Week to the United Kingdom. The Bacardi-owned brand has partnered with bars in London and Manchester, and each will offer its own take on the tequila-based cocktail.

Taking part in the UK’s first Patrón Paloma Week in London will be Hacha, Café Pacifico, Homeboy, Annabel’s, Satan’s Whiskers, Maison Bab, and London Cocktail Club in Bethnal Green. In Manchester, meanwhile, participating bars include, Freight Island, Ducie Street Warehouse, Motley, Crazy Pedros, El Capo, Washhouse, Cottonopolis, and Luck Lust Liquor and Burn.

Furthermore, the brand will offer more than 3,000 free Palomas through UK nightlife app Dusk. London-based drinkers can get a complimentary Paloma at Barrio (Soho, Shoreditch, Brixton and Angel), Kosmpol (Chelsea), and The Lost Alpaca (Covent Garden).

Bacardi will provide bars with social media assets to help them promote the event, as well as Patrón Paloma kits featuring grapefruit squeezers, fruit crates, and Himalayan pink salt.

“The Tequila category is on fire right now – and the Patrón Paloma is particularly hot,” said Claire Presland, brand director for Patrón in Western Europe and Australia. “It’s the perfect time to tap into this growing trend with our first-ever Patrón Paloma Week, and it’s fantastic to be supporting our partner bars with the tools they need to make the Paloma a real hit on their cocktail menus.”

Patrón Paloma Wee is part of Bacardi’s ongoing #RaiseYourSpirits initiative, which seeks to help on-trade partners drive revenues and footfall as they reopen after the pandemic.

In July, the Tequila brand named the top 30 UK finalists for its Patrón Perfectionists Cocktail Competition 2021/22.

In March, Patron Perfectionists named Italian bartender Chiara Mascellaro’s Rosalia cocktail the Margarita of the Year 2021. On International Margarita Day, the iconic Tequila brand partnered with Difford’s Guide in an effort to find this year’s perfect Margarita.
