Hayman’s Partners With Singapore Airlines To Create Connoisseur Gin

Hayman’s Singapore Airlines Connoisseur Gin

Hayman’s has created a special gin to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first Singapore Airlines flight to London, called Singapore Airlines Connoisseur Gin.

To create Hayman’s Singapore Airlines Connoisseur Gin the iconic family distiller fused its London Dry Gin with Asian flavors of kumquat, lemongrass, galangal and Persian lime. “Taking you on a journey to the East, it is a distinctive and captivating gin with delicious notes of zesty lime, lemongrass and soft spice,” says the brand. “Perfectly balanced to enjoy with tonic or in a cocktail.”

The gold and blue colors of Singapore Airlines are reflected in the label with a gold wax finish.

“As the most Internationally recognised independent London gin, we are thrilled to have collaborated with Singapore Airlines,” James Hayman, co-owner of Hayman’s Gin. “It has been great fun working on this gin together and fusing the very essence of London and Singapore to create this delightful gin.”

The gin is available in the Singapore Arlines lounge at Heathrow Airport, or for £35 via the brand’s official website.

In May, Hayman’s once again expanded its portfolio with the release of a new expression infused with exotic citrus flavours, dubbed Exotic Citrus Gin. Providing notes of Persian lime, mandarin, kumquat and pomelo, the new Exotic Citrus Gin is said to celebrate ‘lively, fresh citrus’ flavors.

In April, Four Pillars and Qantas have teamed up to release QF100 Gin to celebrate the airline’s centenary. The 100 proof gin is made to celebrate 100 years of flying. Just like Qantas, the story of this spirit began in Longreach, Australia. Narive lemongrass is the distinctive botanical at the heart of the Australian gin, and it also uses other native Australian ingredients, including macadamia and lemon myrtle. It’s described as big and citrus-forward with bright citrus aromas and soft floral notes. Previously, the two Australian brands worked together on a series of cocktails to be served on flights.
