Chivas Brothers has released its 2020 Distillery Reserve Collection featuring 48 new single cask expressions, including offerings from The Glenlivet, Aberlour, Scapa, and more. The annual series from the Pernod Ricard-owned company provides Whisky lovers with the opportunity to collect rare malts from the heart of the Speyside region.
Available for purchase at Chivas Brothers distilleries, the 2020 Distillery Reserve Collection is a selection of four to 29 year old Whiskies from the company’s 13 Scottish single malt distilleries, including The Glenlivet, Strathisla, Miltonduff, Aberlour and Scapa, each renowned for their style, tradition and quality.
At the heart of the collection sits a range of ten single cask editions from The Glenlivet. The Glenlivet Distillery Reserve Collection bottlings begin with an 8 Year Old 55.5% ABV matured in a 1st Fill Barrel and explores up the age range across various cask types to The Glenlivet 25 Year Old 56% ABV 2nd Fill Butt.
For the first time a smaller selection of The Glenlivet Distillery Reserve Collection bottlings will also be available from The Glenlivet official website, offering fans in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, and Denmark an opportunity to try the exclusive editions despite current travel restrictions.
The wider collection also features releases from some of the smaller distilleries in the Chivas Brothers portfolio, including the much-loved Aberlour and Scapa. Of particular note are a pair of Aberlour 13 Year Old single casks, one matured in a Sherry Butt (60.9% ABV) and one in an American Oak Cask (53.2% ABV).
The collection also includes single malt from a distillery often hailed as one of the most technologically-advanced in Scotland. Whisky drinkers can now enjoy Dalmunach’s unique style with three expressions available exclusively in the Distillery Reserve Collection.

The full Chivas Brothers 2020 Distillery Reserve Collection is now available for purchase from The Glenlivet, Strathisla, Aberlour and Scapa distillery visitor centers. In line with the latest Scottish government guidelines, each site has been equipped with extensive COVID-secure measures to ensure visitors can shop safely at the premises.
