Vampire Diaries Stars Launch Pre-Orders For Brother’s Bond Bourbon

Vampire Diaries Brother’s Bond Bourbon

Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, stars of the former hit CW series The Vampire Diaries, have announced pre-orders for their Brother’s Bond Bourbon. The two actors played siblings in the series and nearly broke the internet when they announced the release of their very own Whiskey earlier this year.

Brother’s Bond Bourbon is a four grain, high rye bourbon that’s 65% corn, 22% rye, an unknown amount of wheat and an unknown amount of barley. It is distilled from “100% copper column and pot-doubler distillation,” and then aged “4 years in virgin American oak, barrel staves #4 char, barrel heads #2 char.”

Information about who actually produced the Bourbon for the onscreen brothers remains scarce, but according to The Whiskey Wash it’s distilled in Indiana, “meaning this is likely been influenced by MGP.”

“The brand name is a nod to Ian and Paul’s on-screen characters, their shared love for great bourbon, and a reflection of the sense of brotherhood they have formed over the years,” notes the brand. T”hey crafted this hand-selected batch, distilled and aged in the tradition of all great bourbon. Time to bond.” They also noted, “The true bonds of their friendship strengthened over drinking bourbon, both on and off-screen, for over a decade.”

The bottle won’t actually reach fans’ hands until mid-February. But those who do pre-order before November 23 will receive a holiday greeting card as well as a personal video from Ian & Paul. Additionally, “for a limited time only,” those who pre-order will be invited to an exclusive virtual tasting with Ian and Paul to celebrate the launch of Brother’s Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

To actually place a pre-order for Brother’s Bond Bourbon, head over to ReserveBar where it’s priced at $40 per 750ml bottle.

The new offering joins a long line of celebrity spirits that have been hitting the market in recent years. Just a few weeks back, Cameron Diaz unveiled her third Avaline wine. Earlier in October, rock band Kiss debuted their own Rum. And in September, Snoop Dogg launched a Gin.
