Where To Watch World Cup 2022 In Los Angeles

Where are the best bars to watch the 2022 World Cup in Los Angeles? LA has plenty of great sports bars and pubs, but the timing of this World Cup’s games makes things a bit trickier.

First off, it’s late fall/early winter is a weird time of year for the tournament, add in that games in the Pacific Time Zone are set to kick off at 2am, 5am, 7am, 8am, and 11am, and it’s not going to be as easy as in years past to find the perfect bar or pub to watch the match you’ve been waiting months for. Still, there are plenty of amazing pubs and bars across Los Angeles offering opportunities to watch World Cup 2022.

Ye Olde Kings Head (Santa Monica)

Ye Olde Kings Head has been opening for 5am Premier League matches for years, so it should be no surprise that Santa Monica’s home for soccer for the last several decades will be showing a large number of World Cup 2022 games.

Sonny McLean’s (Santa Monica)

Besides boasting some of the best sports bar food anywhere, Sonny McLean’s has announced it’ll be “open for all the 8:00 AM games.” We’re gonna assume that they’ll be open for all of the 11am games as well. Scroll down below to match up the games you want to watch with their announcement.

Tony P’s (Marina Del Rey)

If you find yourself in the the Marina and want to watch the World Cup in a dark room filled with a ton of TVs, look no further than Tony P’s, which will be showing all of the 11am matches.

The Stalking Horse Brewery (Rancho Park)

Watching soccer at a brewery seems like a win-win situation, so if you’re like us you’ll be thrilled to see that The Stalking Horse is showing a handful of games from their Rancho Park home. Schedule:

The Cat & Fiddle (Hollywood)

The Cat & Fiddle may have moved around over the years, but it’s still Hollywood’s go-to joint for all things British. Personally, we’re huge fans of the Scotch egg. With that in mind, they’ll be playing a variety of the US and England that come on at 11am PT.

33 Taps Silver Lake (Silver Lake)

33 Taps has always provided something you can’t find anywhere else on the hip Silver Lake through Echo Park stretch: a sports bar with a ton of TVs, a large variety of foods with options for everyone, and plenty of beer options to keep things interesting. They are also doing there best to show as many games as possible, which means ALL 11AM games. Many 8AM games. And ALL semi-finals and finals at 7AM and 11AM. If you want info on a particular game, send them a message on their IG, and–in our experience–they’ll be pretty quick to respond.

The Morisson (Atwater Village)

The Atwater Village spot known for incredible burgers, full pints, and dedicated sports fans even has an outdoor area for those looking to enjoy a little fresh air. We suggest getting here early, ordering a burger of your choosing–the have 11 options, 12 if you count the patty melt–and getting the beer recommended with it. Then just kick back, relax, and enjoy one of the best hidden gems in Los Angeles to watch World Cup 2022. P.S. there’s also a pretty good whisk(e)y list for those of you into that sort of thing.

Wings, burgers and plenty of TVs is what this bar and grill located across from Highland Park Bowl is known for. To make things even better, they’ll be opening for some of the early games.

Lucky Baldwin’s (Pasadena)

With two locations, plenty of food and drink options, and a willingness to open for all the 8am games, Lucky Baldwin’s is Pasadena’s go-to sport to watch World Cup 2022. They’ll even be showing some of the 2am and 5am matches, though there is a cover charge for those.

The Studio City pub known for hearty British fare and plenty of pints to choose from is selling tickets for this year’s tournament: “World Cup is just around the corner. The Manhattan Beach alehouse is known for its wide variety of draft microbrews, casual grub, and ocean views. They’ll be open for all the 11am games, making it the perfect spot to enjoy some soccer followed by a day on the beach.
