Los Angeles’ Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel is collaborating with Italian luxury lifestyle brand ETRO for the ultimate holiday tea experience.
Beginning Monday, December 6 and running through the end of 2021, guests on a limited basis will receive the chance to enjoy afternoon tea at THEBlvd Restaurant and Lounge. Coffee or tea and house-made pastries expertly crafted by the Hotel’s new Executive Pastry Chef Riccardo Menicucci will be presented on ETRO’s new “Boho Butterfly” collection, designed in collaboration with Italian iconic porcelain manufacturer Ginori 1735, launching this holiday season. After the experience, guests can tnd the afternoon over at ETRO with a private VIP shopping experience.
“I couldn’t be more excited about this collaboration. I’m Italian so working with a brand from my home country has always been a dream of mine,” says Menicucci. In line with the theme, Menicucci will keep the desserts for the tea experience “very Italian.” With Ricciarelli, a gluten-free traditional Italian biscuit originally from Siena; biscotti; pasticcini di mandorla, a Sicilian flourless, soft cookie; as well as Bignoline, a blood orange and dark chocolate cream puff, each guest will get to taste each petite, yet elegant delicacy.
Along with tea and house-made pastries, guests will also have the opportunity to dive into the lounge’s signature cocktail menu. There is also an extensive wine and spirits list as well as alcohol-free drink options.
Both ETRO and the Ginori 1735 continue to reinvent their legacies with a vision that brings art into everyday life and everyday life into art, which is why this collaboration works so exquisitely. Having originally studied art history and graphics at The Art Institute of Florence, Menicucci prides himself on how he now uses this knowledge to get creative with his desserts. Expect to see not only a visually stimulating presentation on this limited edition porcelain, but equally delicious treats, certain to seemingly transport guests to Italy during this festive season.
Priced at $65 per person, excluding tax and gratuity for a maximum of two guests per seating, the Beverly Wilshire holiday tea experience is offered Monday through Friday from 2pm to 5pm.
